If you have just installed Thunderbird, the account setup wizard should start automatically when you first start the application.
As shown in the following image, here we want to select an "Email Account". Click "Next >".
Next, fill in your name as you would like it to appear on your outgoing email, as well as your exact email address. In the example below, we will use the name John Smith and the email address johnsmith@nolimitsinternet.com. Substitute your own information of course, and click "Next >" when you are ready to continue.
Now we need to choose the type of email server that we will be connecting to. In the example below, we have chosen POP3 (the POP stands for Post Office Protocol). Unless you have specifically arranged for an IMAP account, then choose POP3 here. Also, you will need to type "mail.nolimitsinternet.com" in the space for "Incoming Server". For the "Outgoing Server" field, we will assume that you are configuring a nolimitsinternet.com account and therefore type "mail.nolimitsinternet.com", and click "Next >".
Here is where you will need to enter your user name, which for nolimitsinternet.com is your complete email address. We have used johnsmith@nolimitsinternet.com as an example. Remember that this field is case sensitive.
When you are ready, click "Next >".
The next dialog will ask you to create a name to refer to this account. This can be whatever you like, but usually it's a good idea to make the account name the same as your email address so as to easily identify it later (especially if you have multiple accounts).
Click "Next >".
Now you will be shown all the settings for the account so far. Take a look and confirm that everything looks ok. Also, if you would like to download your messages from the server immediatly click the checkbox labeled "Download messages now" then click "Finish".
If you selected the "Download messages now" checkbox in the previous step then you will now be asked for your password. This will be the password that we have assigned you. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you would like to save your password so that you don't have to type it every time, then select the box labeled "Use Password Manager to remember this password" and
Click "OK".
If you selected to remeber your password in the previous step, then you will likely get a warning about how passwords are stored and the level of security associated with the stored password info. Read it over and Click "OK".
You should now have downloaded any new messages that are waiting for you on the server.
